The wait (part 2)

Hello darlings....☺
I was too tired and angry to give you guys the feedback on yesterdays interview...
So after waiting for almost 5hours..i was finally attended to(what a mean world we live in 😣) which made me lose interest already...or how can a so called "firm" not keep to time!..to think the MD (who was also the owner of the firm) was reprimanding an employee for coming late....really?????😕
After the so called "drilling", i was told to wait outside for the 'HR team' to discuss..
I waited for another 30 minutes (chai! I've suffered oh...all for looking for a job)..Anyway..i was finally called in...and these were their words in quote..

"Actually, we see you as someone we can work with, but, we need you to start as an intern for a month without pay (seriously?? At my age and bra size?!..*whew*)..and then after, we would now 'consider' you as a worker 'on probation' for months (😯..the head of HR just talked about letting an emoloyee go after months of probation in my presence while i was waiting outside!)..then after that, we would now 'consider' you again to be a full worker..the money is small(obviously!) but we work for passion"

At this point...my mind was already home...i already saw myself sleeping..i started asking myself questions..isnt this what we call a 'one-man business'..did i also mention that they had only six 'workers' ?? and they kept saying they were 'small but mighty'??.. i just smiled, said thank you (for wasting my time, money and for the chinchin the MD offered) and left.

If you were in my shoes..what would you have done??..please leave comments..

On to the next...the best is coming!😊

Its Teedaniels.. xoxo

D first interview was in d morning.... I was over qualified... That was my fault really... I dunno y my eyes picked Admin Officer instead of Admin Assistant. But the interviewer agrees that :

    a) it wud b ridiculous for me to take the job, and
    b) even if I did they can't pay me what am worth. So on dat note... We parted amicably.... These things happen.

The afternoon interview was like urs... After waiting two hours later (and observing that we the candidates are better dressed than the staff - never a good sign) the interview commenced.
To cut long story short I had to lie that am engaged to be married that's y I need the job.... Like said I can't explain it clearly but it got me shortlisted for the next phase of the interview. Wat to do if I get d job n my boss starts expecting the wedding IV? Sigh!!! I can't shout abeg #JobSeekerTinz #OnlyInLagos #ShaDontCarryLast #ItisWell

    1. You see that part of your story where the candidates were better dressed than the staff, that was exactly how mine was....they didnt look like they pay them well...i had to start giving excuses for them in my head that maybe they just dont spend the money on themselves...until i heard what they could offer..#weshallnotcarrylast! #itiswell
